You’ll taste 6 examples from the North and South, exploring winemaking expressions like whole cluster vs destemmed, the use of Viognier, Marsanne, or Roussanne in red wine, and how oak affects the finished wine. You’ll leave with an understanding of which of these styles please your palate. We’ll discuss the differences between producers like Rayas & Beaucastel, Jean-Luc Colombo & Verset, and more.
