Online | Bordeaux Spotlight: Graves & Entre-Deux-Mers

Join Corkbuzz for a series of virtual classes that take an in-depth look at the prestigious region of Bordeaux.

The Graves takes its name from the unique, deep soils of gravel and stone that blanket the area. South of the city of Bordeaux, the Graves naturally warmer climate, and higher humidity make it on of the few areas in Bordeaux well-suited for red, white, and sweet wines. We'll explore the wines of Pessac-Léognan, Sauternes, Barsac, and Graves, and jump over the river to take a look at Entre-Deux-Mers, a region often thought of for refreshing, quaffable Sauvignon Blanc, but that can also offer sweet wines in the style of Sauternes and Barsac like Loupiac or Sainte-Croix-du-Mont.

Optional wine purchase for class available here! Each class will have two (750 ml) bottles of wines specifically curated for class.

- We cannot guarantee wine delivery for orders placed within 5 business days of the class date.

- Zoom links will be sent the afternoon of the live class, and the recording will be sent the following day.
