The Loire Valley is one of the most diversified wine regions in France, producing a large variety of wine styles. While cycling through the winding valley path, one will find a varied and complex array of wines and wine district. Though wines from this area cover a wide assortment, they share a distinct freshness and acidity and crisp minerality. In this class, we'll explore classics like Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre, Cabernet Franc from Chinon, and more. Get ready to delve into the vast wine selections this unique and affordable wine region has to offer. 

Alsace, Jura & Savoie are often overlooked but produce some of France's most unique styles. We'll explore the Grand Cru whites of Alsace, the Alpine reds and textured whites of Savoie, and the singular styles of the Jura. We'll cover wine law, geography, geology, winemaking, and popular styles.
