Corkbuzz Online | Regional Profile: Jerez-Xérès-Sherry

Unfairly pushed back to the back of Grandma's kitchen cabinet, the popularity of Sherry has ridden the incredible wave of highs and lows. We want to bring Sherry back! This style of wine is incredibly diverse, from light, Marcona almond & chamomile tinged Manzanillas & Finos, nutty Amontillado & Oloroso, floral Moscatel, and unctuous Pedro Ximénez, these wines range in style from bone dry to lusciously sweet and can be enjoyed with tapas, as an aperitif, with dinner and dessert. We'll explore the grapes, vineyards, history, winemaking, styles, and pairings of this ancient wine.

Open up any Sherry you've been excited to try or pick up something from our retail shop to describe to the class via chat.

Zoom links will be sent via email on the morning of the class. Follow-up notes are sent the following day.

Check out our wine "backpacks" for the class here or email laura@corkbuzz.com for custom wines shipped from Corkbuzz for class.
