Corkbuzz Online | Camino de Santiago: Wines of Northern Spain

Known best for their flagship DOCa region, Rioja, Northern Spain provides a cooler wine-producing region than the rest of the country. It is here that Tempranillo aged in American oak, Albariño, Spanish sparklers, & Grenache shine. The River Ebro runs through the northernmost part of this wine-producing country and captures some of our favorite high-altitude vineyards. Want to learn more about why we love northern Spain? Join us in class! We're covering these regions and more. We'll cover: Spanish wine laws and history; major wine regions and their climates, grapes, styles of production, and suggested pairings.

Open up any wine you've been excited to try or pick up something from Corkbuzz to describe to the class via chat.

Zoom links will be sent via email on the morning of the class. Follow-up notes are sent the following day.

Check out our wine "backpacks" for the class here or email laura@corkbuzz.com for custom wines shipped from Corkbuzz for class.
