Cabernet is synonymous with Napa Valley, but many regions in California also produced wonderful, food-friendly, and value-driven varietal and blended Cabernet Sauvignon. In this class, we're traversing the California wine growing regions to find the best Cabernet available, from cult classics in Napa & Sonoma to value-driven but high-quality areas like the Sierra Foothills, Paso Robles, and Lodi. Cabernet loves California and we love Cabernet. We'll discuss grape growing, winemaking techniques, wine regions, food pairings, and favorite producers.
