Part Wine 101, all Blind Tasting. Want to learn to Blind Taste, but are worried you don't know enough about wine to begin? Learn why understanding wine basics like varietal typicity, terroir, climate, and wine making styles can increase not only our ability to comprehend what we are smelling and tasting in the glass, but also our enjoyment.  In this introductory tasting course, we will hone your deductive tasting skills and teach you how to tell the difference between classic grape varietals, based on three elements of wine: sight, nose, and palate. Join us in tasting three red wines and three white wines as we explore all that a glass of wine has to offer the senses; meanwhile, learning what makes great wine. Perfect for beginners and connoisseurs alike, this class is open to every experience level. Tasting grid and blind tasting supplies will be provided.
