From the Bordeaux “like” conditions of Long Island, to the Finger Lakes - which have been producing wine since the 1850’s - New York is becoming a serious wine producer in terms of quality and versatility. Many wineries are a short drive or train ride from the city, a perfect weekend wine getaway. We'll discuss New York's wine regions, grapes, styles, and producers we love. Be prepared to explore six examples of the bounty of wine New York has to offer, alongside Chef selected cheeses.
