About Paul:

Paul Brady began his wine career in 2011 working in production in New York City, before going the sommelier-turned-ambassador route and coming full circle back to production. Brady worked in the cellar and on the bar team at Brooklyn Winery before a multi-year stint as a server and manager at the Terroir Wine Bars and Hearth Restaurant. From there Brady went on to hold server and sommelier positions at Gramercy Tavern, Rouge Tomate, and finished his NYC restaurant career in the Tom Colicchio group at Temple Court and Craft. Always with an intense interest in wines from both New York state and the northeast in general, Brady became the first New York Wines Ambassador for the New York Wine & Grape Foundation where he was recognized for his work as one of the 2019 Wine Enthusiast Magazine 40 Under 40 Tastemakers. In 2020 Brady began work to open up his eponymous business in the Hudson Valley: a winery brand, shop, and bar, dedicated exclusively to the wines, beers, and spirits of New York State. Paul Brady Wine produces six custom New York wines – a mix of sparkling, still, orange, natural, and traditional, with grapes from the Hudson Valley and the Finger Lakes, almost exclusively available at his shop and bar in Beacon. Recognition came immediately from consumer publications like the Wall Street Journal, and trade publications like SevenFiftyDaily. In 2023, Brady was recognized by VinePair as one of the VinePair 50: “The talented individuals catching our attention across the drinks space right now. It's a group of people on the up and up, ones doing cool stuff to make the drinks space and its immediate orbit better and more creative.” Brady resides in Poughkeepsie, NY with his wife, their son, and their cat, Clara.
