About Daniel Brennan and Decibel Wines:

Passionate about wine and driven by a deep-seated love for New Zealand’s Pinot Noir, Daniel Brennan founded Decibel Wines. His journey began at the family restaurant in Philadelphia where he developed a fondness for the unique character of Martinborough Pinot Noir.

Determined to master the art and science of winemaking, Daniel moved to Hawke's Bay, where he immersed himself in the local industry. Paying homage to his Sicilian Great Grandfather, winemaker and cooper Michelino Rodolico, Daniel established Decibel Wines.

The name, Decibel, reflects Daniel's past career in the music business and the happy coincidence that his initials, dB, are the abbreviation for the unit of sound measurement; decibels. 

Daniel now crafts three collections under the Decibel family; the classic single vineyard Decibel wines that started it all, the fresh and fruit-driven Giunta collection where experimentation runs free, and the ultra-premium Testify range which are only produced in the very best of years.
