About Kristin, David, & Intermission Cellars:

From Stage to Sip! Kristin Piro and David Gordon, the owners and winemakers of Intermission Cellars, are also Broadway actors! Balancing careers in both industries, when the pandemic hit and theatre went dark, these two performers found themselves in an extended “intermission,” allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the wine industry. Driven by their passion for delighting an audience, they found another spotlight. Enter wine!

All of their wines are made from organic, sustainable, and biodynamic vineyards in Sonoma, California. Kristin and David honed their winemaking techniques under the guidance of some of Sonoma Valley's greats, crafting their wines with an old-world style while preserving the fresh characteristics of Sonoma fruit. They emphasize great farming practices and use low-intervention winemaking with minimal sulfur to let the vineyard's hard work shine through in the finished product.

Kristin and David love the undeniable parallels that wine and theater share. Theatre and Wine have indisputable parallels. They both combine endless toil and sweat with individual experiences and creativity. They open the soul and create unforgettable memories. Like theatre, whether it be the performer or an audience member, no two performances can ever give the same experience twice.  With wine, every sip changes. No two bottles will be the same.  They encourage you to taste the passion, excitement, and balance in the wines. Embrace it like a good piece of music. Sip the harmonies!
