Alsace, France’s last major region to gain its AOP status, is a white wine lovers paradise. Learn about this historical French wine region that produces rich Rieslings and Pinot Gris, aromatic Muscats and Gewürtztraminers, and expressions of these grapes from lean sparklings to luscious dessert wines and everything in between.. We’ll cover  the fascinating history and how the wines and cuisine evolved out of centuries of political strife between Germany, France, and others, along with geology, climate, terroir, appellations and classifications., Pull out the choucroute and boudin blanc, or whip up a tarte flambée, and open your favorite Alsatian wine to sip along.
