Adrienne Cooper

General Manager-Chelsea Market

With nearly 2 decades of experience in food and beverage, Adrienne Cooper has worked in nearly every aspect of the industry from coffee shops to hotels, bars, retail shops, food tour companies, and everything in between.

Adrienne's first dive into wine was while she was working at the Hyatt in Jersey City, when she completed Kevin Zraly's Windows on the World Wine Course. Through the years, she's worked at various festivals and events, pouring wine for notable producers like Jordan, and The Food Network (yes, they made a wine with Wente). She was also one of the first brand ambassadors for Hella Cocktail Company, educating the public on all the uses of the often misunderstood spirit. Since then, she's attained her Certification as a Specialist in Spirits and in Wine.

Adrienne's always been a champion for the underdog, so when it comes to wine it's no surprise that she loves to explore and support the underrepresented in wine--from regions to producers. While working in a retail shop on the Upper West Side she got to dive into that passion as the store's buyer for New York State wines, which grew to include all of the East Coast and eventually North America outside of the West Coast. Her efforts in the New York section were recognized by the New York Wine and Grape Foundation. In March 2023, Adrienne accepted the Unity Retailer Award for the passion she brought to her work. She also worked with colleagues to bring in wines from BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and Female Vintners from around the world.

In May of 2023 she participated in Finger Lakes Riesling Camp and in June that same year she joined the Corkbuzz family by taking over as General Manager of the Chelsea Market location where she used to bring her food tour groups in years ago for a little popcorn and some bubbles.
