Montirius Vacqueyras ‘Garriques’ 2016

93 pts Wine Advocate

About | Founders Eric and Christine Saurel were early adopters of biodynamic practices back in 1999, and when first tasting their wines, we were struck by the balance of power and purity. Beyond biodynamics, they even play Gregorian chants to the wines as they age...not sure how that helps, but can’t argue with the results!

Tasting Notes | “A blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah, the 2016 Vacqueyras Garrigues is a strong effort, boasting hints of garrigue that accent raspberry and chocolate notes. Medium to full-bodied, with rich, velvety tannins, it remains vibrant and fresh through the long, silky finish. It should drink well for a decade.” WA
