Corkbuzz Online | Guide to Central Italy; Tuscany, Emilia Romagna, Umbria, Marche & Abruzzo

Tuscany is Central Italy’s most historic and well known area of wine production, but the surrounding regions also offer a wealth of food and budget friendly wine styles crafted from indigenous grapes, and perfect for a feast recreating the local fare. Sangiovese is King in Tuscany, but lesser known grapes like Albana, Grechetto, Verdicchio, Pecorino, Lambrusco Grasparossa, Lambrusco Sorbara, Montepulciano, Lacrima, and Sagrantino (just to name a few!) are grown throughout the regions. On our Italian journey, we’ll discuss history, climate, terroir, grape varieties, wine making styles, classic producers, and food pairings. Open any bottle from your cellar to virtually ‘cheers’ and share with the class, or let Corkbuzz create a curated collection for you.

Zoom links will be sent via email on the morning of the class. Follow-up notes are sent the following day.
